It is not unusual for someone to be overwhelmed with so many choices in cellphones and plans from various carriers these days. So how does one expect to make the right decision while trying to compare hundreds of different devices with what seems to be an endless list of spec sheets that are increasing on a daily basis?
Google has recently added a tool to assist with that called the Google Phone Gallery. They’ve created a nice tool to simplify the process and narrow down your choices giving you an opportunity to make an educated and informative decision on what cellphone suits you and your wallet best!
The database is filled with devices that can be broken down categorically by manufacturer or carrier. You also have the ability to do a side by side comparison of three different phones at once. Each phone has its own extensive spec sheet and if you click on the “buy from” icon next to the carrier logo, you will be taken directly to the carrier’s website.
Overall, it’s very similar to the comparison database AndroidSPIN has been offering for a while. It’s just another option out there, but when it comes to smartphone shopping, being fully informed is never a bad choice.
