At a private press-only event in a swank ballroom in New York City, Sony Consumer Electronics stood alongside partners Intel and Google to debut the Sony Internet TV and the Sony Internet TV Blu Ray player both with Google TV.
There will be 4 variants of the flatscreen television starting with 24″ at $599 up to 42″ at $1399. The Blu Ray player, which will work with even non-Sony components, will be available for $399. Both the TV’s and the Blu Ray player are available for preorder now at Sonystyle.com
Both devices will make their way into brick and mortar Sonystyle stores starting this weekend and Best Buy stores starting October 24, 2010. In exclusive deals reported earlier this year on androidspin.com Google TV will be exclusive to their launch partners so these two key components will be the only Google TV’s available this holiday season.

I wish that you can stop paying for cable and that the Google tv will replace it. But so far looks amazing, wouldn’t buy it yet. Will see
