Android 2.1 Coming to the Motorola CLIQ Mid-November

We know that many of you CLIQ owners are a little upset about the lack of updates coming to your device and that most of you are already running Android 2.1+ thanks to the great modding community we have here. According to the image above your device will be getting an official update to Android 2.1 relatively soon.

With the OTA update, your device will soon receive some enhancements including:

More Google Apps
New Android Market
More Homescreen panels
New and enhanced widgets
Corporate email access
Improved multimedia access
and more

According to internal training, T-Mobile employees will begin training on the Android 2.1 update for the CLIQ on November 7th, so we wouldn’t expect the wait would be too much longer. Anyone still have a stock CLIQ waiting on this update?
