
While many are eager to see what is to come with the latest Android release known as Gingerbread, the video below shows off a unique “screen off” animation that while it’s not groundbreaking, it’s still pretty cool to see something different.
The device is the Google Nexus One and we’ve yet to see this animation on custom ROMs which pretty much betters the argument of this being the actual Gingerbread OS. This video is a little better quality than the original image that Phandroid broke out on Monday. Enjoy the video!

There are many other subtle UI hints that have been attributed to the upcoming Gingerbread build of Android which are evident in this video that lend credence towards is validity.
I hope it’s real, looks awesome!
