What do guys think, is it worth the $99 price tag or will it just be another gadget that collects dust?

OMG!! I actually have a Walgreens in town.. I may just have to buy one of these just because.. LOL I’m a junkie.. Thanks you for the info.. no to figure out what to tell the wife. lol
Resistive? Hmm…
now if this thing can be rooted……… and move up from 1.6 to gingerbread then we will have a deal
Gross
Hm… I’ll take that ViewSonic one that got posted earlier, thanks. I don’t care how sensitive a resistive screen they put in; it still won’t support multitouch. Also, I saw two USB host ports on that one.
I like the price point. I’ve been waiting for a tablet in the $1-200 range that’s just enough cheaper than a lappy to justify its purchase.
But like everyone else the resistive touch screen sounds lame. Once you go capacitive you never go back. I’d pay another 50 bucks for a capacitive screen.
As far as 1.6 being on the device I’m not concerned, if t gets popular someone will root it and put Froyo or better on it.
With that cpu, it will never run anything higher than 1.6. It would be like trying to run windows 7 on an old school G1.
They said that about the G1 and look what happened to that
