The guys over at TMONews have a secret admirer who keeps sending them some pretty cool photos. This time around they’ve received some shiny new screen shots and a couple of days ago they also leaked out a few device photos of the upcoming T-mobile MyTouch 4G. Yes the name 4G has now been confirmed and can be seen in the boot animation photo shown below.
If you hadn’t heard the news, it’s looking like this latest device in the MyTouch series from T-Mobile will be launching on November 3rd. The new device sports some pretty cool features with a blazing fast 1GHz processor and complete media integration with your home media devices courtesy of Tonky from PacketVideo Corporation. This will also be the first device from T-Mobile to feature a front facing camera with video calling using a customized version of qik.

Why are ppl hating on this phone???? Get the F over it if you can’t effin get it!!!
I can get it,people keep hating on this phone because most people already don’t like sense,then tmobile had to somehow make it even crappier than it already was.
Well, Sense is a personal choice I guess. Some people like it and some people don’t. For the general phone user who doesn’t want to root the device, they seem to like it. I think the reason most people attach it is because they are the people who want to get fast updates and potentially root the device, which is probably most people who come to our site.
My boss has the Slide and loves it as he doesn’t care about the latest and greatest, but he finds the phone very easy to use.

Looks like it’d be a nice replacement for my aging mytouch 3g 1.2. I’d like to use that phone and root it with Cyanogen Mod if they ever come out with one for it when the phone comes out. (:
I can’t wait to get this phone so I can video call all these haters moms. This will be the best phone by tmo in forever. It would be wonderful to be able to turn off sense though. Guess I’ll keep my g2 just in case so I can use both. I’m falling in live with my g2 so I don’t know.
yeah but the hardware is great and is has potential, if it doesnt have that horrible backup chip from the g2 giving it the root issues….this phone with cm6 could top everything.
i have question for ppl who bitching about the Sense, what sense do you want?? i have a mytouch slide, its good phone and i think the sense is good too….i don’t know when ppl say ” same shitty sense” what they want… if you dont like it then root it… i think is phone is going to be great!!!

Just got back from my local T-mobile store where I got my hands on an early release of the mytouch 4g. First though in my head was run with it and don’t look back. Well that didn’t happen but let me just say that the pictures don’t do it justice. I was worried that it looked cheap like the original (which I still use), but I was wrong. It actually is a very nice phone in person. Fast as hell and the camera is amazing. Did get my own pictures of the device in use but the original mt3g gave my some very bad pictures. Glad I waited for this one………… or do I wait for the rumored N2. Here we go again………………
the mytouch series of phones have always been the phone of choice for real android users pls don’t hate on this phone just because it is running mysense? if u don’t like it then root it personaly i don’t like it myself i stayed faithful to my mytouch 3g and the slide was a fail the mytouch 4g aka mytouch hd is the next top android hulk of 2010 nd 2011 well atlest till nexus 2 comes out
