Samsung Galaxy Tab

Coming off the weekend rumors of the Samsung Galaxy Tab hitting shelves on November 14th, it looks like Sprint has confirmed the 14th as the launch date and was nice enough to include the new contract pricing for the Galaxy Tab.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab will be priced at $399.99 for a new line or eligible upgrade and two-year service agreement on a 3G Tablet Mobile Broadband plan. They have also announced that those interested in the Galaxy Tab will have two rate plans to choose from:

  • 2GB data plan with unlimited messaging for $29.99 per month
  • 5GB data plan with unlimited messaging for $59.99 per month (plus taxes and surcharges).

Beginning today, customers can pre-order the Samsung Galaxy Tab in stores with the purchase of a $50 Sprint gift card where customers will have to pay up the rest for the device on Sunday, November 14th.

Features of the Samsung Galaxy Tab include:

  • Android 2.2
  • 7″ WSVGA enhanced TFT display
  • 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird processor
  • TouchWiz UI
  • Front-facing camera
  • Wi-Fi
  • GPS
  • Bluetooth
  • Micro SD expandable up to 32GB

What are your thoughts on the $399 price-tag with the two rate plans available?

Via: Sprint
