With yesterday’s launch of the Samsung Mesmerize, it looks like US Cellular is down with Samsung as today they have announced the Samsung Galaxy Tab. The Galaxy Tab is literally following the same path as its sibling the Galaxy S smartphone series.

Features of the Samsung Galaxy Tab include:

  • Android 2.2
  • 7″ WSVGA enhanced TFT display
  • 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird processor
  • TouchWiz UI
  • Front-facing camera
  • Wi-Fi
  • GPS
  • Bluetooth
  • Micro SD expandable up to 32GB

The Samsung Galaxy Tab is designed for people who want a premium mobile entertainment experience on the go, but don’t want to be weighed down by a bulky device. A search-by-voice function is just as intuitive, meaning searches can also be completed easily on the go.
