T-Mobile myTouch3G Froyo Rollout Window Extended, Taking a long time!

T-Mobile’s rollout of the Froyo update for the original myTouch3G has been extended to December 15th for some unknown reason. Originally the update should have been completed by October 25th but is still continuing.

Maybe there are more myTouch 3G’s still being used than anticipated so more updates have been rolling out than expected so they extended the window to spread out the load or have they been experiencing problems. Who knows and I’m sure all you myTouch 3G owners are just glad to know that you will be getting it soon.

We do know that the update is being controlled by Google and not T-Mobile so it could be that they simply have too many other updates in process or something else were not aware of.
