Froyo And Eclair Are Taking Over The Pie

2

Doesn’t this little pie graph look delicious? Froyo and Eclair are taking over rendering Android 1.5 helpless. In descending order, Android 2.2 makes up 36.2% of the pie while Android 2.1 sits just ahead with the largest piece with 40.8% leaving Android 1.6 with 15% and Android 1.5 with 7.9%.

Motorola is working on updating the Motorola Cliq and the Motorola Backflip to Android 2.1, so there’s a pretty good chance we might not see Android 1.5 carried over into 2011. For those keeping score at home, the combined total leaves .01% to the “other” category. Anyone excited for a new treat?
