The device you see above was the upcoming LG enV Pro said to be running Android 2.1 in all its dual display glory, but due to its failed attempt to win over testers it looks like Verizon has pulled the plug on this project.
The LG enV Pro grabbed our attention from the first time we learned of its existence, and we were eager to see images of this device when we learned it would be landing in stores on November 11th when Verizon’s Q4 roadmap leaked.
For those curious parties, the LG enV Pro was rumored to be another entry-level device although we hoped for a little more. How many of you were looking forward to the LG enV Pro?

Daaaaaaaang.. That SUUUUUUCKS! Not for me, but for Android in general. I know a lot of people who have the Envy’s and it would be cool to convert them over to Android. =p
World would be a lot easier if Android was exclusive to high-end HTC phones. Then all the market apps would work on every phone. There’d be no 2.1 version while 2.2 is already out. If Google went to HTC to create a phone, that’s good enough for me. Anyway, I’m glad another low end Android didn’t make it. All they do is leave you wanting more.
