Motorola Makes Android 2.1 Available To Testers, Everyone Else 11/9

Last week we reported that Motorola was recruiting testers for Android 2.1 on the Backflip and thanks to a helpful tipster, it looks like Motorola is trusting their software development team and has set a date for the update to go live on November 9th.

The update will only be accessible via your computer as it will not be pushed an like the normal OTA updates and if you’re expecting Android 2.2 on this device, you might want to go ahead and toss your Backflip on eBay.

Anyone excited for a little Eclair on your Backflip?
