While Opera Mobile isn’t officially dropping their Opera 10.1 application until tomorrow, apparently the folks over at Android-Life managed to find the link from Opera Mobile that unleashes a slew a new features into the browser application.

Just downloaded and insallled. NOT GOOD, the basic browser on droidx is way above this. Uninstalled!!
it is actually slower than previous version.
after reading the reviews….not going to install this..sorry
im running this on my G1 w froyo. scored 100/100 on acid3. loads and scrolls faster than stock browser. there is a switch for “turbo mode” which i would assume is more like opera mini. might not be as good as other browsers on newer phones, but on old hardware it cant be beat
It seems like the download link is getting hammered pretty good as it is intermittently not working. Maybe they will get there servers fixed shortly.
the browser is a beta and still has a lot of problem left to be solved. i installed and went to cnbc.com website. browser has problem displaying the website.
