Rogers and Fido make Froyo available for the Acer Liquid E

Android 2.2 is currently available the Acer Liquid E in Canada, but only those users on Rogers and Fido at the moment. Oh and one more thing, the update is not rolling out OTA as you’ll have to download and install the update manually. Do you want to get started now?

Features of the Android 2.2 update include:

Add Wi-Fi Hotspot and USB tethering applications
Better Exchange support
Improves performance

You’ll need Windows XP (32 Bit) or above and after downloading the file, you’ll need to unzip it and follow the instructions in the .zip file. Enjoy your Froyo folks! Let us know what you think of the update in the comments below.
