As the Rumor Mill Churns. Sounds like a bad soap opera, right? Well, the rumor mill is a-churnin’ this morning!
According to Engadget, a tipster has been “shopping” this image you see here around the tech blogs this morning claiming this is the first of two “iPhone killer” Tegra 2-powered smartphones coming from Motorola.
Looking at the phone, whether it be the Motorola Olympus or not, it looks to have anywhere from a 3.8 to 4.3 in screen, four capacitive touch buttons (common in a lot of Android phones these days), and what appears to be a front-facing camera up top.
Now we’ve heard the Motorola Olympus name before as it passed Wi-Fi and Bluetooth certification back in September, but who knows if this is what we are looking at?
What do you think? Is this the Motorola Olympus? Does it look a lot like Motorola’s version of the HTC EVO 4G? Let us know how you feel about it so far in the comments!

I say the screen is much larger than 4.3”.
It looks to be closer to Dell Streak size.
Looks very generic… very similar to the galaxy s phones and tab. To me anyway.
After looking at an I phone for the last few years I guess another great design just doesn’t capture your attention, nice and clean, not cluttered with ask kind of buttons and shiny doodads. It next to the I Phone and the original
Nexus, a truly beautiful phone. American Museum of Modern Art, here is a piece of art.

Wow, I think I’m in wanting a serious relationship with this phone. Its esthetically (to me) a cleaner design than the I Phone. It appears to have the new (old) Gorilla Glass installed on the front. Great selling point as there have been issues with screen breakage lately so, not having an amoled screen should keep the cost down alittle. Or is it amoled? Overall, a very attractive phone that on first look..I want one!
This looks almost exactly like the Galaxy S Fascinate that I am using to view it on. The word “Motorola”, and the camera-like-dot being the only exception that I can see. Would Motorola make the design so much like a competitors?
