Update: Gingerbread and Honeycomb Builds Show up in App Logs

3

Well, what do we have here? According to the app logs shown above, we see builds showing up from the upcoming Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) release and Android 3.0 (Honeycomb). The latest Gingerbread build going around is GRH47B and with a possible announcement coming soon in December, this build could be one of the final builds before it drops.

The user agent of a device can be changed with a bit of knowledge as we’re seeing two different Honeycomb (Android 3.0) builds show up and if these two Honeycomb builds are legit, at least we know that they’ll run on a Google Nexus One.

*Update*- It looks like these Gingerbread and Honeycomb builds are fakes thanks to Frandroid who pointed these out. It’s too bad we have integrity violators among the Android community.
