Update rolling out for the Original DROID test Group

The first DROID from Motorola is gaining a software update today. Now don’t go and get to excited this is not going to be an update to Gingerbread. I know thats sad. It is just a an update that will probably bring it to 2.2.1 with the it officially moving the build to FRG830. The good news though are as follows.

Updated News & Weather widget
Improvements to Exchange ActiveSync

Enhancements

Added new Gmail user interface

Since no one else has a Gingerbread update yet it really doesn’t surprise me that it isn’t. At least this will solve a few issues and add some enhancements.
