Enomthers G2 ROM Manup Themed
![]()
If there has ever been a ROM I’ve always gone back to no matter what ROMs I’ve tried, it’s Enomther’s “TheOfficial” series. First it was the T-Mobile G1 and then the Google Nexus One, and now all you lucky owners of the T-Mobile G2 get to sample his awesome work.
For those of you who don’t know the Enomther ROMs, they are some of the first ROMs that featured their own built in kitchen allowing numerous configuration possibilities using very simple options in Enomther’s Spare Parts application. From changing out the Kernel to installing HTC applications like the camera application and lots lots more.
His initial release for the T-Mobile G2 will not feature the HTC Camera applications as he is still working on that aspect of the ROM but all the other options, tweaks, and wizardry are included. I’ve been playing with this for 2 1/2 hrs now, I’ve never owned an N1 before to have tried @enomther roms. Though I have seen and heard of them and I’ve always been impressed with them, now I’m able to have it on my G2!
This is a great rom, very fast and responsive on the G2! It has pretty much has everything the CM rom has minus some bits overall an awesome rom.
I’ve always wanted an HTC rom with vanilla and this is the perfect blend! Its like sense but without all the nonSENSE.
Great to hear!! Thanks for letting us know. We are pretty excited to see this come out! Anyone else?

I was holding off until Gingerbread came out to root my G2, but this just upped the ante. I’ll see if 2.3 is announced tomorrow…hopefully.. If not then I think i will.
