If you’ve ever wanted a device that totally looks like a phone, has a 3.7″ AMOLED screen, and runs Android, then the Cowon D3 Pleneu is the device for you.  The recently announced Cowon D3 Pleneu is a PMP that plays your music even through Bluetooth, displays your photos and videos, external too with HDMI output, connects at hi-speed using WiFi, and can even tune in to TV stations with its built in T-DMB tuner.  All that’s missing is wireless communications and it would be a phone.

The device is running a heavily customized Android 2.1, so much so that you’d never know that Android was hiding underneath. No Google applications are provided, so there’s no access to the Android Market although Cowon is promising applications of its own.
