#CES2011 – One on One with nVidia, the Tegra2 and the Motorola Atrix 4G

Motorola Atrix 4G with T-Mobile myTouch 4G

 

 

 

 

Today we had a 1:1 meeting with the guys at nVidia and we walked through the nVidia Tegra Zone , as well had some cool demonstrations of the Motorola Atrix, all showing off the commitment nVidia has to the Tegra2 platform.

The Motorola Atrix 4G is the first Motorola phone to feature the nVidia Tegra2 Chipset and will be launching on the AT&T network.  The Atrix is one of the highest resolution Android phones to be released to date with a 540×960 resolution 4 inch screen.

nVidia walked us through some graphical demos to show of the processing powers of the nVidia Tegra2 Chipset and gave us a quick peek at the new nVidia Tegra Zone , which lists nVidia Tegra2 enhanced software in an easy to use Market like interface.

Plugging the Atrix into a HDMI enabled TV gives you access to the Motorola Entertainment Center which allows you to display all your media onto your TV screen.  There did not appear to be any way to display the phones actual display onto the TV.  Check out the video below:

    OMGoodness why would they give this phone to at&t that’s like the worst carrier They must have payed gwap for exclusive rights since they lost thier crown jewel iphone……..pretty pissed would have definitely got 1of these not worth switching to at&t though

  7. The Bionic at the end of June is a let down…. Possibly a big enough let down for me to get the Thunderbolt lol… is dual-core worth 4 months?
