Today we had a 1:1 with Arcos, a company which creates Android based tablets in multiple form factors. We seen a wide range of Android based devices from 2.8″ to 10.1″, and we are very impressed with their line-up.
The whole line-up is currently running Android 2.2 (Froyo) and boasts a very rich user experience. They are not only pleasing to the eye, but also very quick to reacting to touch. The processors range from 800 MHz up to 1 GHz.
Check out the image gallery after the break.
Head on over to Archos.com to view their full line-up.

Tested the 101…best value for money in android tablets right now…299 for 1ghz cpu, froyo 2.2 8gb plus usb for external hard drives, micro sd card slot for 32gb expansion hdmi out with great quality on a40″ tv output (tested angry birds, raging thunder and the cartoon with the bunny that comes with. Naive android tablet with flash support..(for flash and google market and apps you have to find and install gaps4archos.apk…not hard to find but one very needed step.)
All this without root access… That’s why I say the nook is nice but not worth the 250 when you have this option…if the nook was 150 I wouldnt think twice…
But I think from the archos line up the 101 8gb model is their best value for money..i wouldn’t go for any of the others…it also fits nicely in my palm width wise so you can hold it easily while using it and it had its own stand.
I have an Archos 70 and I love it. It is still an update or two away from being completely ready for prime time but it is competitive with the Galaxy Tab in terms of specs. The device has incredible video codec support. It can play videos of any kind, streaming from my very limited Windows 7 laptop using upnp.
