  2. Beckhamsoccerman says:

Be more correct and professional like phandroid.. You guys quote and say a lot of stuff thats not correct or has missing info.

Well beyond the obvious reporting on all things Android and faster loading pages, the only thing I could think of is complete and unquestioning devotion to me, mghtyred. I would like to be worshiped as a god, with complete and unwavering control over the entire universe. I’d like to be able to merely snap my fingers, and AndroidSPIN would bring me a tasty sandwich. Can you do that for me, AndroidSPIN? Because if not, you’re just teasing me with this call for requests, and I may just have to file a class action lawsuit against you and Samsung who until now has refused to bring me extra cheese pizzas while wearing thong bikini’s.

Y’all should add a section of top new apps, top apps and user and editor suggested apps.

At least check spelling and grammar and what not before posting. And don’t post crap articles like Google TV already dying cause they cut prices; thats why you guys don’t get credit for breaking out the Vibrant 4g story.

    Give Sources …!!!

I want at least 10 updates a day. Slow news day? Fill it with app reviews. I feel like I miss out on a lot of what the Market has to offer because I don’t have the patience to sift through the “Hot Babe” and “Tip Calculator” apps to get to the good stuff. I love it when this site brings attention to hot new apps and even hot OLD apps like you did with SMS Popup a week or so ago. I totally forgot about that app when I had my G1 so was excited to install it on my Vibrant.

Maybe stop copying phandroid and produce your own images/articles. Seems a lot of things on Androidspin are posted on Phandroid first. Same article, same images. Be original instead of a copy/paste site. I understand sources will be the same..but have a mind of your own.

    • I know I personally don’t go to Phandroid often. I know that they have a crack team of breaking news people which we do not.

When we were focusing (mostly) on news, Phandroid was a huge part in that, as they got news well before us more often that not. We’ve stepped back from news being the primary focus. Which is why we are asking what you all would like to have us cover.

Believe it or not, news is a thankless cutthroat business that is pretty hate-filled. (I’m speaking for myself here, because I HATE trying to find the NEW news).

i believe , Blogging is not a News Channel, but its more About reviewing a product and giving the right information to the users, That needs a good research.

No Doubt every Blogger is in a race of Breaking the news and geting in top of the Search Engines.

    What happened to rom reviews??

  10. Yeah more app reviews would be cool and more original content. For those asking for rom reviews – they split that up a while ago because then people were complaining that the site was mostly about rom reviews (figures)…

  11. I would say a section of top apps by category. Stormy and the other writers find a lot of apps and they should use a star or number rating. Then you could sort apps by rating and reviewer perhaps. I havent been following for very long and im sure i missed a lot of apps from him (he does like 5 a day :P ) and others…Ryan had some awesome recommendations too (loved the simi clock widget …Im pretty sure everyone has had a lot but like i said..havent been following too long and do not want to offend anyone).

so yeah..a rating of apps and being able to sort them by category and reviewer..so we can always go and see what is going on..not to mention it would allow me to miss a day of checking this website so my girlfriend doesnt leave me!!

  12. also…fix the android app…when I try to reply through the app it goes blank and does not load correctly so I have to log in through mobile browser.

  14. David says:

    app reviews are always fun.

  15. FILA says:

better tagging. alot of times i wanan find a pp you showed off at one point and its like impossible to find at a later date, you need to tag them all the same tag or something

  16. I think someone mentioned proofreading already. ie. spelling, grammar whatnot. Some mistakes are acceptable but too many can be annoying. I used to do manga translating projects and after translation we would have someone proofread it before releasing the chapters. Its a bit more work but its necessary.
Another thing is to have some personality in your articles and not be too passive. By that I mean having some creativity in writing to make your articles have more life. Some examples are sites like kotaku and destructoid(not phone sites but whatever, its relevant) Sometimes starting a flare in readers and have people comment/hate/flame/discuss/debate about topics brings life into the site. After all, thats what teh internetz is about.

  17. Thargic says:

more app reviews seems to be a popular request…and that is something yall do well..

  18. Greg Joplin says:

When you review cell phones I would appreciate more information re voice quality.
Is the sound loud enough, clear enough on handset and speakerphone?
I mean one of the main reason for a cell phone is to talk.
Another thing is what codecs does the phone use,is there bult in Eq,dolby, surround sound, what quality of sound does the media player have,is it loud but not distorted?

  19. Xylomaphoner says:

Keep the ROM database more up to date.

  20. Robert the Genius says:

I would like AndroidSpin to continue lobby on our behalf to companies like motorola and get them to offer the openness of custom roms, ect.

I would also like to see a rumor section, specifically.
