Even with all the bad press and the horrible approach to the needed 2.2 software for the Vibrant, free is still a great price. Many of the Vibrant owners out there that took the steps to root and are running many of the various custom ROMs out there will still agree, this is a really amazing device. If you have held off from getting one because of the lack of support from Samsung, wait no longer. Pick one up, enjoy it for a few days, then get it rooted. You won’t be disappointed.

Why would anybody put themselves through the samsung bs…it isn’t worth the headache to deal with the no updates and then when it finally comes, its still a headache….do yourself a favor and get an htc, motorola or a new lg phone…boycott samsung!
