High end tablets will have high end final costs it seems. For those tempted by the $600 tag on contract, just keep in mind it will cost you $1K+ after the 2 years is up with only 1GB of data per month. If you do want this tab the most cost efficient will be the wifi only at a rumored $600 especially if you have an android 2.2 device or rooted device with free wireless hotspot. Plus the lack of flash until the Spring would cause me to wait until then to work out any bugs or anything else. Looks like this product may have been pushed out a bit early but there is no doubt android is a player in the tablet realm now.
i’m still not sold on these tablets. i could buy a real nice laptop for that price. what exactly is the point of these devices, watch youtube videos and check mail plus a few pointless games. i know i will eventually get one, but not for a few more years………
I would consider purchasing the Xoom is there was a WiFi version for 399.99. Otherwise, I’m not buying it!
