Motorola Offering $100 Off Xoom

3

Although this may not be as great as the 25% promotion Motorola ran on its products during the Superbowl, it’s at least something. Regardless whether it’s $200 off or $100 off, any kind of discount is better than none at all. The new promo code is “motoxoom” that can be taken advantage of via Motorola’s website. If you decide to purchase a Xoom from the site, free 2-day shipping is available if selected during checkout.

I'm an avid technology lover. My first Android device was a G1; I fell in love (except for the battery), next I got a Samsung Captivate; error in judgment on my behalf, now I've moved on to the MyTouch 4G; which I absolutely love. What started with me just needing some kind of phone to use, i.e. free G1, ended with a new addiction.... I also enjoy long walks on the beach and luxurious bubble baths.... Oh wait.

  1. This is the response that I get when I use the code MOTOXOOM.

We’re sorry, but we didn’t recognize the promotional claim code or gift certificate/card code you entered. Perhaps you typed it incorrectly or you are trying to use a code that’s not valid for the items in your Shopping Cart?

It’s sad they have to drop the price already – hell samsung already admitted they have to go back to the drawing board….. Like it or not Apple sets the standard and everyone else is just trying to make a alternative. Problem number 1: all these manufactures (motorola, samsung, hp) have embraced android which is not innovative at all. 2: everyone in the android world cling to specs instead of user experience, and 3: developing on iOS is exponentially better than android…….that’s what will keep iPad on top. Xoom sales won’t approach in 6 months what ipad2 does at launch. Call me a troll….I don’t care…..I have a droid and a iPad – I had a Galaxy tab but returned it cause it was terrible. Can’t wait to get a iPad 2.

Where did the other comment go slamming motorola already having to drop it’s price?
