Apparently Amazon is not the only retailer that releases early pricing on devices. European retailer, Phone House, recently listed four of the new upcoming tablets in their catalog (page 54).
- Motorola XOOM – 699 EUR ($990)
- LG Optimus Pad – 849 EUR ($1203)
- ASUS Eee Pad – 399 EUR ($565)
- Acer Iconia A100 – 349 EUR ($494)
The XOOM already made a splash in US with an explosive debut on the Verizon network. However, we have yet to see the other tablets listed by this retailer. You can expect the prices to go down considerably when they finally hit the states.

Converting the price to US dollars makes no sense. Gadgets usually sell in the US dollar wise as they do in European euros, e.g. 399 EUR will usually be $399 in the states.
I’m looking forward to the Asus Eee Pad Transformer. I really hope they do it right and that the XDA community jumps all over this one.
Every america blog does this, its so annoying.
