None of us are strangers to the wonderful work and discoveries that come out of our amazing friends at xda-developers. This is yet another one of those great discoveries. Member bosina brought to light the MIUI Camera App that was pulled from the MIUI ROM. The application is already set up in a Clockwork Mod (CWM) flashable zip file for your convenience. The app will easily install and have no fear, this will not replace your current camera application. Essentially, you will be gaining a second camera app for your device. As always, below you can find a few screen shots of the app in action.

The app currently only has two issues that anyone is aware of. If you wish to record a video in full 720p, you will experience issues. It is recommended that you use the standard camera app. The second issue is related to Gingerbread 2.3. If you happen to be using the current experimental build of GB you will also have issues. If you want to give this a shot, head on over to xda-developers and pick up the zip file and flash away. This should work on other devices beyond the Samsung Vibrant but I am not positive.
