Lots of news has been published about this tab as of late, however it seems that this Honeycomb tab still flies in under the radar. However given its hardware and versatility it’s hard to see why people wouldn’t be screaming to get their hands on one.
For those of you unaware of the Transformer, it comes with a few rather innovative features. Of course these innovations are mostly thanks to its keyboard dock that seemingly turns this tablet into a notebook. Beyond adding a computer-like feel to the tab, this dock also features a battery which boosts the Transformer’s 9.5 hours of battery life to 16 hours. This dock also charges the tab in the process assuring that it’s topped off when you remove it. This tab, like others, sports a Tegra 2 processor, 1.2MP front camera, 5MP rear camera, and will be running Honeycomb.
I really love the idea of the Transformer, and I believe this truly makes the tablet a replacement for computers while maintaining its advanced mobility. The ASUS Eee Pad Transformer is a major contender on many levels, and at a price of $400 for the 16GB version, it’s worth taking a look at. Although availability has not yet been mentioned ASUS has started announcing release time frames for Europe which when coupled with the Best Buy page means we’ll see it soon.
[It appears Best Buy took down the page but as you can see by the picture it did exist. It looks like we can thank website developers for the premature notification. =)]

This is where the idea came from. This tablet is interesting.
