VZ Navigator for the HTC Merge Surfaces on Android Market

We’ve seen this happen before, of course it wasn’t with the HTC Merge. Verizon’s newest LTE device, the Thunderbolt, had a similar experience with this particular piece of software. In the Thunderbolt’s instance the phone released soon after the VZ Navigator hit the market. Now the Merge is seeing the same treatment and we still don’t have a release date. Could this mean we should be expecting an announcement from Verizon soon?
