As we know Sprint and Google have been collaborating for some time now to get Google Voice integrations working for Sprint’s customers. Today the teamwork has paid off as Google Voice features are now fully available for Sprint users.
Option 1: Keep your Sprint number: Your Sprint number becomes your Google Voice number so that when people call your Sprint mobile number, it rings all the phones you want.
Option 2: Replace your Sprint number with your Google Voice number: All calls made and texts sent from your Sprint phone will display your Google Voice number.
In any case Google Voice will replace Sprint’s native voicemail program and allow international calls to be made using your Google Voice number.

Well it turns out that if you are on a Sprint business plan or if you get a Sprint discount because you are a public servant or gvt worker as I am, Google does not allow you to port your Sprint number at this time. It is only available to individuals in the public sector. Too has for me. So I have to use my GV as I have been and keep the 2 numbers. Just wish Google would have told us this. Needless to say I am very dissapointed.
