If you haven’t been paying attention too much today then you have missed a lot of amazing information and some information that would make anyone jealous. The most exciting news for the 5000 attendees of Google I/O were given the latest and greatest Galaxy Tab 10.1. Along with the freebie, Verizon gave them all 3 months of service for free.
The Google I/O version is of course is a limited edition tablet. It is white and black with and Android pattern to boot. Quite the eye catcher. Not to mention it runs Honeycomb 3.0 with promises from Google of an update to the recently announced 3.1 in the next few weeks. A lot of people are very happy right now.
Apparently though, someone is either incredibly smart, or just broke. Only a few hours after the announcement and after people started picking up their goody, someone put theirs up for bid on Ebay. The last I checked it was topping over $1100 with 2 bidders in the race to win. I have no doubt someone will push that bid to at $2000 before the auction ends tomorrow.

Here is my question for you, if you just received a free Tab 10.1, would be apt to sell it or keep it. The money is pretty tempting when you are broke, like most of us are. I suppose you could turn around and pick up a new one at launch with the cash.

First. And I would take the money and settle for the release date.
