Although this is not directly aimed at our beloved handsets and tablets, it is still Angry Birds. We all love it so much that everything we have that can run it usually does. They just added another way for you to play the time sucking, sometimes mind boggling, game to our desktops and laptops via the Chrome web store.
You can play in Standard quality or in HD, depending on what your PC can handle. Rovio is stating that it runs at a good 60fps and should be able to run in any browser that supports the WebGL. The company is also releasing content specific for the Chrome version, such as ‘Chrome Bombs’. I have also learned that the Mighty Eagle will be available as well and you will be able to purchase that bird if you are to impatient to earn it.

Did you run HD or SD version?
hmm, Im on win7 also. AMD dual core 3 gig RAM. It ran just fine for me. I am sure there will be updates to address various issues much like the versions on the markets. Hopefully they can nail it down for everyone.
Works great on my PC, but I only get sound (no video) in my iMac (Apr. 2011 model). My Google-Fu confirms this is not an uncommon bug as of right now.
