HTC Releases Source Codes for Wildfire S, Droid Incredible 2, and Desire HD

0

All of these devices have already seen at least one source code release at this time. As we know the Droid Incredible 2 is simply a renamed Incredible S and already has it’s goodies spread about he internet from either a source code release or a system dump. The availability of Desire HD and Wildfire S software is about the same.

That being said the source codes now being offered are different than that of which we’ve seen for said devices. The Desire HD Source features the recent Gingerbread update we saw rolling out, which along with a new version of Sense enhances the overall experience. The Wildfire S and Droid Incredible 2 source code are bit lack luster however the Wildfire S is running Android 2.3 and also running the same 2.1 version of Sense as mentioned above. These sources can be obtained by visiting the HTC Developer Center. For those of you wanting the inside scoop be sure to check ‘em out.

I'm an avid technology lover. My first Android device was a G1; I fell in love (except for the battery), next I got a Samsung Captivate; error in judgment on my behalf, now I've moved on to the MyTouch 4G; which I absolutely love. What started with me just needing some kind of phone to use, i.e. free G1, ended with a new addiction.... I also enjoy long walks on the beach and luxurious bubble baths.... Oh wait.
