Upon thumbing through the Android Market you may have noticed that you had an update (or maybe a few updates if you’re like me) available. Google Maps has been updated to version v5.5.0 bringing a few feature tweaks. For those of you that haven’t already updated you’re missing out on:

hmmm, does it still run constantly in the background and absolutely kill battery life???
