I'm an avid technology lover. My first Android device was a G1; I fell in love (except for the battery), next I got a Samsung Captivate; error in judgment on my behalf, now I've moved on to the MyTouch 4G; which I absolutely love. What started with me just needing some kind of phone to use, i.e. free G1, ended with a new addiction.... I also enjoy long walks on the beach and luxurious bubble baths.... Oh wait.

HI I purchased the pro version on my Samsung Galaxy S 4G.   How do us Rom Manager?.  Is there a faq page for the product?  Basic directions on what format a rom, kernel, etc need to be in so that they can be installed by Rom Manager or CWM.   Particularly for installing CWM Roms from XDA-Developers

If your phone is rooted its all common knowledge. If you don’t understand then your about to have a fancy paper weight.

I’m running 2.3.6 on my Samsung Galaxy S 4G and ROM Manager does not detect the model properly. It lists 4 other devices, I don’t recall which, but not mine. I’m wary of installing CWM if it didn’t detect my device properly. what should I do?
