Verizon is turning on a few more 4G/LTE markets today, and my city happens to be one of them. While I don’t have a 4G phone, I do have the Verizon MiFi for review, and it’s blazing along. I live in the northeast of Indianapolis, right on the edge of the LTE zone, but it still works just as if I was downtown. To commemorate turning on 4G, Verizon has been giving away the Droid Charge in a Willy Wonka-esque way. The first 100 people, I was probably only the 10th person, can go into one of two stores, pick out a 4G chocolate bar (you have to ask for it), and hope to win a golden ticket. I don’t know what happens if you win because I didn’t… But from my understanding, you get a free 4G Droid Charge (I don’t believe you have to sign a contract). If you live in or around Indianapolis, go try your luck! Can’t hurt anything unless they force you to get a Motorola Citrus.

Thanks for the tip! I didn’t win either though. However, the chocolate was good.
What speeds are you getting over at the NE side. I live on the NW, and was contemplating getting LTE.
I got a Droid Charge. Bought it 3 hours before Verizon switched to tiered data, so I have unlimited data
In downtown, speeds are usually 7-8Mbps Down/4-5Mbps Up and about 4-5Mbps Down/2-3 Mbps Up on the NW side.
