Being an avid Android user, it’s nice to know when new software is being tested out that makes the Android experience better. It’s also important to know where to obtain certain software (legally, of course) by signing up to be a Beta tester.
Being a Beta tester is a great way to try out software (for free) before it gets released to the public. Even though the software might be full of bugs, you the user will be doing a greater good for everyone else when you report these bugs, so the developers can iron them out and users will never see them when the software gets officially released.
I’m happy to announce AndroidSPIN’s new Beta Software landing page. Our intention is to keep it up to date with all the current Beta services out there, like Swype and Google Music, with links out to their sign up pages. There are only a few services that have been added to the page–and we intend adding more as time progresses.
If you are a software developer (or a regular Android user like I am), and you want to add a Beta Program to the page, please email us the details at tips@Androidspin.com, and we’ll have it up shortly!
All applications have to be approved and there must be an official beta management program in place for users to get support and provide feedback.
