Google Considering Purchase of Hulu?

1

According to an article in LA Times citing a few anonymous sources, Google is in talks about a potential purchase of the video streaming super giant, Hulu. This current fascination which Hulu deviates from the advertising potential behind such a popular site. With the hundreds of licenses Hulu possesses it’s easy to see why it could be so valuable. Additionally Microsoft and Yahoo are also considering the same thing.

If this ends up becoming reality we could see Hulu becoming more widely available on the Android platform, more than likely bringing the regular version that doesn’t require a subscription. At this points it’s nothing more than whispers but it’s definitely something to keep your ear open for.

I'm an avid technology lover. My first Android device was a G1; I fell in love (except for the battery), next I got a Samsung Captivate; error in judgment on my behalf, now I've moved on to the MyTouch 4G; which I absolutely love. What started with me just needing some kind of phone to use, i.e. free G1, ended with a new addiction.... I also enjoy long walks on the beach and luxurious bubble baths.... Oh wait.

So, what now… if Google shows an interest, suddenly Microsoft wants it too?  And Yahoo? Really?  They have already screwed over Delicious, are in the process of letting Flickr die of neglect, MyBlogLog, Yahoo! Buzz, Meedio, JumpCut all closed…what they want something else they can kill now?
