Vizio’s 8-inch Gingerbread Tablet Available for Pre-Order, Ships Out July 18th

While news has been buzzing around all the new Honeycomb tablets rolling out, Vizio has been quietly working on a Gingerbread which is now close to hitting shelves. This 8-inch slate will come running Android 2.3 instead of the Honeycomb OS we’ve gotten use to seeing on the other new offerings. You can now pre-order this tablet from Vizio’s site and upon doing so you will receive a 16GB microSD card and folio case when your tablet ships on July 18th.
