One Click Unbrick for ALL Samsung Galaxy S Devices

11

I swear that wasn’t a typo! Posted up in the Captivate forums, I found an app that might truly make your life a million times easier. As a fellow user of a Galaxy S variant, the Vibrant, I know how frustrating it is when all the flashing forces you to use ODIN. Although ODIN is not a terribly complicated process, it still isn’t a lot of fun to have to go through. Bricking our devices is a risk we all understand and accept as a possibility. Especially if you can’t seem to follow the simple instructions the devs lay out for general consumption. Even experienced users will try something just to do it and get stuck.

Thanks to some hard work by AdamOutler and based off of heimdall-one-click  by Benjamin Dobell, we now have a simple way to solve our bricking problems.

About One-Click UnBrick

This Software:

Will work on all Samsung devices which use Odin
Is a single, portable executable
Is the first one-click anything for our devices on Linux
Works on Mac
Works on Windows
Is open source
Is programmed in Java
Deploys and installs Heimdall for your OS
Is super easy to use…. Only one button!

Not only is it a simple click to gain root, but now it is a simple click to fix your busted phone. Here is a short video of Adam showing how easy it all has become now.

To find out more information and download the app head on over to source link below. Happy unbricking.

Time for an update. I am the proud father of three, 2, 8, and 11. I finally just moved up from the Samsung Vibrant to the Samsung Galaxy S III...... Let me tell you, it is mind blowing. I love Android, I love tech and I love my family. Not in that order though. I work to hard, play even harder and take care of all that are around me when I can.

PLEASE HELP!!! After installing Ice Cream Sandwich on my vibrant, it wouldn’t recognize my T-mobile network, therefore I decided to flash it back to its original firmware using ODIN. I must’ve done something wrong ‘couse now I’m only getting some circular charging bars on a black screen when the phone is plugged in, and the samsung vibrant logo on a black screen too when unplugged. I’ve tried ripping the battery out, pressing the 3 keys to reboot it and nothing!! I’m stocked!! PLEASE HELP, ANYONE???

    Where’s the download link?

Links to the apps that you are so PROUD to tell us about should be a requirement. What kind of idiot populates the web with an “article” about the latest really cool app and then doesn’t include a simple link to the app? Not to mention all the links that you provided to the author and yourself, but you can’t link to the app?

    • Stormy Beach says:

Sorry. Apparently I should have added view the source link in the article.. I will add that line to avoid future confusion.

Why even tell us about this if you do not provide a way to get it. I searched around and finally went to XDA and allegedly got it but it will not load properly on windows 7 64x, it needs to load Heimdall first but the auto loader just goes to a blank screen. Please send me a working link.

    No Link = Complete Fail.

I seem to not be understanding why you are the second person to say that. The final paragraph says “hit the source link below.” Just below that it says “Source: XDA” and XDA is a link to click
