This was a nice little nugget of info that magically appeared in my inbox this morning. The highly addictive game, Fruit Ninja, now has a FREE version in the market. I don’t mean the lite version that is only a fraction of the game for you to test. I mean a completely FREE ,100% version of the game. The developers behind this additive game, Halfbrick Studios, released the full version to the public for free just this morning. Now even more people can get in on the action.
Here’s a little bit about Fruit Ninja for the uninformed – Swipe your finger across the screen to slash the falling fruit in half, just like a real ninja. You have 3 game modes to choose from; Zen, Classic and now Arcade. Toss in some power ups like freeze and frenzy to help get the high score you desire. with other bonuses that help you unlock different blades and dojo backgrounds, this game is sure to keep you playing for hours.
We can’t forget to mention this game is also tied into Openfeint. That will allow you to track your high scores and compare it against others on a global scale. With the paid version racking up over 100,000 downloads and sitting comfortably at a 4.5 star rating, you can’t pass up the chance to get in on the action.
The paid version is still available in the market. If you would like to support the developer after playing the free version, feel free to buy it. Don’t worry though. Both versions are the same game.
