Google Music Gets Linux Support

The number of people I know running Linux as their primary OS is limited to developers. I am certain there are many other users out there that are running this wonderful FREE Open Source operating system. I generally see a few comments running around the web when a new service is launched and Mac or Linux isn’t supported yet. Good news for you guys today. Google just released the .deb and .rpm packages that are used in Linux for applications to support Google Music. If you use Linux as your daily OS then you are aware of how to install them, if not, Google put up the simple steps to make it happen.

This is great news for Google Music lovers and die hard Linux fans. To pick up the packages you require, simply go to music.google.com, click on ’Add Music’ and ‘Download the Music Manager’ and select the appropriate package for your Linux Version. Get going and get that massive music collection synced up to you device.
