Chrome Extension – Screen Capture

5

Oddly enough I get asked how to take screen shots extremely often. I always thought it was a funny question at the time, but never stopped to think that maybe more people should be alerted to this extension by Google. It is called, Screen Capture.

This handy little add-on adds quite a bit of usability with it. Not only with it do the simple task of capturing the full screen you are currently viewing, but you can also capture just a screen region. That allows you to take a snapshot of the precise part of the screen you want. If that wasn’t enough to entice you to install this tool, let us not forget about being able to highlight parts of your PNG, ad text, draw lines and arrows and even black out or blur certain sections on the screen.

It is a very useful and handy extension to have available. You can direct your chrome browser to Screen Capture in the Chrome Web Store.

Time for an update. I am the proud father of three, 2, 8, and 11. I finally just moved up from the Samsung Vibrant to the Samsung Galaxy S III...... Let me tell you, it is mind blowing. I love Android, I love tech and I love my family. Not in that order though. I work to hard, play even harder and take care of all that are around me when I can.
