We just showed you guys the Samsung Galaxy Note and made mention of the Galaxy Tab 7.7, but I completely forgot to get some info up about that device as well. So here it is.

Along with the Galaxy Note,
Samsung also announced their latest tablet edition to the world. The Galaxy Tab 7.7. Not sure I really need to tell you the screen size, it’s 7.7″, but I will tell you the resolution you can expect is 1280 x 800. Which, coincidentally, is the same resolution of the Note’s, but on a larger screen. The Tab will also be packing the same 1.4Ghz dual-core processor. It will be running fast and clean with Android
Honeycomb 3.2 with
TouchWiz UX . As far as camera support, I feel the Tab 7.7 falls a little short. It houses a 2MP front facing camera but a meager 3MP rear facing camera with a flash. I guess they don’t think people using tablets have much need for a high end camera. The device does boast a 5100mAh battery and it is said to offer “up to 10 hours of video playback time.” That will be great for those long car trips or boring meetings especially at its full 1080p playback. As with any tablet now a days, there will be support for a 32GB micro sd card with 8GB of memory on board.
I still think it is going to be a great addition to their tablet line up as well as Android as a whole. No release date has been made yet, but you might be happy to know their press release does make mention of HSPA+ and Wi-Fi, but no LTE was mentioned. That might mean Verizon might be out of the loop on this one.
I would almost prefer the note just for the beefed up camera, even if it supposed to be a phone.

Time for an update. I am the proud father of three, 2, 8, and 11. I finally just moved up from the Samsung Vibrant to the Samsung Galaxy S III...... Let me tell you, it is mind blowing. I love Android, I love tech and I love my family. Not in that order though. I work to hard, play even harder and take care of all that are around me when I can.
