[App] Hacker’s Keyboard – Offering a PC like keyboard to your Tablet or Phone

There are many keyboard solutions floating around the Market that offer various differences to the end users. Most are aimed at simplicity and being as compact, yet functional, for your everyday life. With the introduction of the tablet to the tech scene there haven’t been many that address the larger screen in quite the right way. At least not until I discovered this keyboard hidden in the Market. It was created by Klaus Weidner and brings all the functionality you could want from a full PC keyboard. Offering dedicated arrow, Tab, Ctrl and Esc keys all on your screen. These additions make using things such as ConnectBot for SSH access almost a necessity.

The keyboard is based off the AOSP Gingerbread keyboard which supports multi-touch giving you a simulated keyboard at your finger tips. The keyboard currently supports 13 different languages but not all applications with recognize the use of the additional keys. This keyboard will definitely enhance your tablet experience and even add some useful functionality to your Android device that doesn’t offer a track pad/ball.
