I’d never heard of Tuff-Luv until the day I started searching for a case for the ASUS Transformer and they appeared in Google search.  Based out of England, Tuff-Luv supplies a whole series of cases for Smart-phones, Tablets, e-readers and more.

Tuff-luv is a fast growing UK business that started operating in January 2006, specializing in providing a wide range of unique phone, Tablet, MP3, and camera accessories.  They offer a complete lifetime guarantee in their entire product range. With over 1000 products in their store to offer to the public, Tuff-Luv is fast becoming one of the main on-line brands for cases in electronic devices.

When a box of goodies arrived, I was excited to find out that what they’d supplied us for testing.  A couple of Transformer cases, one Barnes & Noble Nook case and a case for the Samsung Galaxy S2 European version.

These cases are not the cheapest cases in the world, but with the build quality at the level it seems to be, I’m pretty sure you’ll all be happy if you get one. Enough of the intro, let’s get into some nitty gritty details!

ASUS Transformer cases

Tuff-Luv sent in two ASUS Transformer Tablet cases; One of the cases is Black leather and the second case, which is for the Tablet, and the Keyboard Dock, is made from Brown Natural Hemp. Most of the Transformer cases from Tuff-Luv are available as a two piece set for use with the Tablet and the Keyboard dock.  The main case  opens like a book and an opening in the middle of the fold allows you to slide your Tablet into the front section.  A Velcro tab along the opening can be fixed in place to prevent your tablet from sliding back out of the slot.

The front section of the case has a small pocket for notepads or other slim documents and located above this are holders for Pens, Stylus, Documents, business card, credit card and memory cards.  The cover has a magnetic insert to help it stay closed too!  The inside of the leather case is also lined to give it a soft touch.

All the necessary opening, holes and cutout are perfectly located providing clear access to all your controls and giving plenty of clearance for your cameras, sensors and speakers.

I don’t normally say this about many cases, but I can’t really find much wrong with the designs from Tuff-Luv.  They’ve done a great job with both design and manufacturing.

When you want to set your tablet on your desk or table, the rear of the case features a fold out stand held to the back of the case with 2 press studs.  The same studs are also used to attached any of the keyboard dock cases as well.  This connection system allows you to easily attach and detach your keyboard dock without having to remove the case from either device.

I would like to finish up my quick review section by saying that these cases are really nice, and as long as they hold up to the long term, I’ll be very pleased.  I’ll post some more generic info below as well as a few extra photos for you to take a look at.

I’m still trying to make my mind up which material I prefer! the Hemp or the Black Leather.  Both look great on the Transformer and both offer excellent protection for your device.  I was trying to find any difference between actual fit of the products, but they really are identical, which holds good that they have a quality manufacturing process in place.

Tuff-Luv also sent cases for the latest Barnes & Noble Nook (not the color) and the European version of the Samsung Galaxy S2.  Unfortunately I have no way of properly testing these cases, but the build quality looks to be on par with the ASUS transformer cases.  Here’s a couple of shots taken from the Tuff-Luv site.
