Just a few days ago we showed you guys two of ARCHOS new G9 series of tablets. At that time all we knew were the specs of the device. Thanks to ARCOHOS, we now know a bit more. They have let loose with a pricing tablet and release date for us all to look forward too. ARCHOS plans to release the ARCHOS 80 G9 8GB tablet on September 20th online and at other retailers such as TigerDirect, Amazon and NewEgg. The remaining four tablet variation you can choose from will all be scheduled for release on September 30th. Check out the price tags for for all five tablets below -

The G9 8″ tablet pricing is as follows -

  • ARCHOS 80 G9 8GB – 1 GHz at $299
  • ARCHOS 80 G9 16GB – 1.5 GHz at $329
  • ARCHOS 80 G9 250GB – 1.5 GHz at $369
The G9 10″ tablet pricing as folows -
  • ARCHOS 101 G9 16GB – 1.5 GHz at $399
  • ARCHOS 101 G9 250GB – 1.5 GHz at $469

Not everyone is in love with the overall design of the tablet, I personally think it looks pretty good. With the exeption of the 8″ 1GHz model, the other four posses a ARM dual-core CORTEX A9 OMAP™ 4 1.5 GHz processor. The most interesting one to me is the 10.1 inch 250GB version. Although it might be clocked higher then the GIT Media Group tablet, I am personally more inclined for the GIT Pro due to the Samsung Exynos dual-core chip that can be found inside. Once that opens up, it will out perform all tablets on the market, in my opinion.

It all comes down to preference though. Do you like the style, design, hardware and look of the ARCHOS G9 series? And is the price tags for each variant what you were expecting? They sit well with me.
