Adobe Poised To -Turn Up The Dial- With Flash Player 11 And Adobe Air 3 In Early October - Supports 3D Gaming, HD Video Conferencing And More

One thing that all Android users install, if they want the most out of their device, is Adobe Flash Player. The company keeps making changes to app and improving its usefulness. When Adobe launched an app called ‘Air‘, many thought we would start to see native flash games and content hitting the market in force. Sadly that wasn’t the case. There are some out there that you can get your hands on, but not many.

Adobe is stepping up the game so to speak. Launching in ‘early October’ is Adobe Flash 11 and Adobe Air 3. Which introduces Stage 3D, an architecture that promises hardware-accelerated rendering at 1000x the speed of Flash Player 10. They also boast theater quality HD video, native 64-bit optimization and HD video conferencing with the upcoming release.

The company is so proud of the new abilities that they are dubbing it the ‘Next-Generation’ console for the web. The new additions will help developers deploy their apps and games much easier across multiple devices and platforms with out all the extra work of coding for specific devices. With Flash 11 and Air 3 set to be available for ever web connected device on the market - Android, iPhone, iPad, Blackberry Playbook, Windows, Mac, and connected TV devices – this might just be the next big thing to our little Android devices.

Some of the videos that Adobe let loose really show off what it is capable of producing. Take a look -

Looks pretty impressive. How well this will work on Android is yet to be seen, but if these feature rich graphics and smooth game play action are cruising along on anything ‘i’ related, I don’t see us having any issues enjoying the same benefits.

lines up perfectly for that October 4th iPhone 5 announcement to show off Flash for the first time for i devices. im surprised actually, figure apple would keep refusing and just wait till HTML5 to rule the web, guess they realize one of Androids stronger points! ha
