So many wonderful things will be happening this weekend at the Big Android BBQ in Austin Texas. Unfortunately I won’t be in attendance myself by Simon will be there feeding me information all weekend. The crew in charge of this amazing event has partnered up with Meporter to offer a contest and give you a chance to win a Galaxy Tab 10.1 while you are there.
The contest is rather simple and the prize could easily be snagged by anyone that is in attendance. The first thing you are going to want to do is install Meporter right now if you don’t already have it. Get your account set up and get familiar with the lay out and how to post a news story. Then you are going to want to keep you device handy and be prepared to cover the event. No, this is not limited to just the Bloggers and Press, this is an open contest for all in attendance.
What will you cover? Anything you deem news worthy. On Friday there is the AndroidGuys.com pool party, Saturday night is the bar crawl, in between are keynotes and other events of importance. You can cover anything from devices on hand, a vendors booth or the debauchery that is sure to ensue the entire weekend.
The judging will be done by none other than the prolific Geek.com writer Russel Holly. The deadline for you entries is Sunday at noon October 2nd. The winner of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 will be announced on stage at the BBQ’s farewell ceremony Sunday evening.
