We have been pretty excited about the GIT Media Groups latest tablet venture. We had a chance to play around with a unit for a short period of time and it was extremely nice. There were a few things that they were finalizing on the tablet at the time, but it still performed really well. The have two tablets available for pre-order. Both devices offer identical features with the exception of the processor chips used. They both offer a unpresidented 250GB hard drive, 1 gig of ram, a 10.1 in screen at 1280X768, USB Port, Micro SD, Mini USB Port, camera, HDMI out and Honeycomb OS. The GIT PRO comes with a Samsung Exynos dual-core processor and the GIT Surge comes rocking a NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor. Both clocked to 1Ghz. They are pretty solid, thin and powerful devices.
GIT is extremely excited about these new tablets and running a special pre-order sale for this month only. If you hop over to their page, you can pick up one of their tablets for only $399.99. That is $80 off retail price. You also have the option of choosing a 3 year warranty OR a keyboard and leather case with your order. Pretty sweet deal.
I am fully aware that many pre-orders were already placed for the tablets when they were first announced. I am pleased to inform you that you will also be getting the same $399.99 price tag attached. If you wait too long though, after Oct 31st, you will be back to full retail which is $479.99. I wouldn’t wait to long if you are seriously considering this tablet.
